Rotary Club of Boise Southwest, Idaho

On a sunny November Saturday at Lake Lowell Boise Southwest Rotary joined over 150 Rotarians, Rotaracters, Interacters, family, friends, and co-workers joined to restore habitat destroyed by wildfire and invasive species.  We planted over 1,900 Idaho native seedlings.

In the center of the fields, our Rotary Earth Stewardship waved proudly, welcoming clubs from Ontario, Emmett, and East Boise-- all an hour drive to this spot. Russell Johnson, District Governor Nominee, from Idaho Falls and Anshu & TJ Verma from India joined us as well.

Around the fields, see youth wearly brightly colored caps with Rotary cogs; these are members from the four Interact clubs that led our planting.  Indeed, over 30% present were under 30 years old AND over 25-30% were family, friends, co-workers and guests of Rotarians.
