Congratulations to Lynne Hood, Rotarian of the Month of March!
Lynne was recognized at our March 20 meeting as Rotarian of the Month. Lynne was the organizer and driving force behind the "Dixie Land Jazz and Crawfish Boil" held March 7 at the Basque Center in Boise. This well attended fundraising event featured the Boise High School Marching Band and generated funds for the purchase of new uniforms for the band. A presentation to Boise High for $2000 is shown next to Lynne's award picture.
The public was invited and presented an opportunity to introduce people to Rotary and highlight the work Rotary does in the community. Thanks to Lynne for all her work in coordinating an exciting event for Boise Southwest Rotary!
